Back to the Bush Indigenous Corporation (ICN 10152) is a registered Indigenous environmental charity directed by a diverse board of both Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander persons.
Our vision is to see Australia’s landscapes restored to their endemic biospheres, sustained through living knowledge and holistic, interprofessional stewardship. We advance this purpose through advocacy for better regulation and practical, on-ground land care that supports Country to heal and endure in perpetuity.
We also maintain a frontline natural disaster response, supporting imperilled communities and Country by strengthening existing agency arrangements when capacity is stretched.
Back to the Bush Indigenous Corporation and the Sacred Sites Preservation Project are the social, cultural and environmental charities of the Treaty Council Worldwide Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Corporation (ICN-9045).
